We all have candy hang overs plus time change…too much in one night for me. I woke up at 6:00 this morning and enjoyed a few minutes of peace and quiet then Nicole came down. I enjoyed some Nicole time by playing doll house with her. This morning we talked to our kids about turning some candy in for a toy. They were all for it. So off to Target we went. I also wanted to look at the half price Halloween stuff.  Nicole got a Snow White costume that she was so excited about. In fact she has had it on all day. Justin picked a green truck and Nicole picked a little kittie in return for some candy. We still let them have a lot of their candy just wanted to sneak some away. We came home and the kids played with their new toys. Justin named his truck Max. Dad fixed my cuckoo clock while I put away all the Halloween decorations. Now in birthday mode. The kids played so happily but we wanted to get out and go to the Spectrum. Finally we got them to go. We had a good time at the Spectrum. I was in a shopping mood though-I did drag Nikki with me some places but found nothing.  They loved watching the ice skating. We hadn’t been to the Spectrum in a while but did the usual things, the kids rode the train, had lunch, etc. When we got home Justin rode his car outside with daddy while Nicole and I stayed inside and did puzzles. Nicole wanted to send Chase a letter He sent the kids a thank you letter for his birthday gift so she drew a picture back for him, so cute. I went off to a photography thing while dad and the kids played here. The photography thing was just ok. When I got home dad and the kids were playing Memory. The kids and I went through some of their toys upstairs-we are trying to clean out for new toys. Nicole is having a hard time giving up things but she is trying. We read books. We tried for an earlier bedtime since the time change but Nicole didn’t go to bed until 8:15ish. Somehow most people gain an extra hour of sleep while we gained an extra hour of play. Lots to do tonight.
