Mostly an at home day. I needed one. But this morning the kids woke up early, ugh. So they came with me to drop Katie off at the airport. On the way back we dropped off library books and the kids thought that the book drop was so cool. Then we went to the grocery store. Breakfast came in parts today, part in the car on the way to the aiport, then I let them pick out crossaints at the grocery store. They helped me with the little carts but they kept on wanting to stop to show me their show. HA We came home and I prepared kabobs for dinner. The kids played so well. They played on the aerobed and were sad when I deflated it. They were very busy this morning. They were as happy as I was to be home. They played with their new snack containers and filled them with cars. They pretended to pack for the aiport and the couch was the plane. They were also ice skating in the kitchen and I had to get out as the zamboni was coming. I gave the kiddos a bubble bath before lunch. They cleaned the whole bath tub with the bubbles. After bath we had lunch then the kids pretended to paint the walls. It felt like we hadn’t watch TV in days so the kiddos watched Curious George. I have been getting things done, cleaning, thinning out the junk in the house, computer time, signing up for classes, and looking for a photography class. Justin wanted to be naked after bath, so he ate lunch naked and watched TV naked. After TV we went over to a friend from pre schools house. They live in an apt’ and N&J have never been to one before. They thought it was a hotel. The kids played a bit. Nicole was whining for chocolate. I can’t believe how much life is centered around food. It didn’t help that Nicole was pretty tired. We all ran to the Woodbury pool and swam for a bit. I wasn’t sure if I was making the right decision as the kids could only swim for about 25 min. then we had to leave. The kids were jumping in the kiddie pool with their friends holding hands. They loved showing their friends they can go under water, etc. When it was time to leave it wasn’t too bad. Nicole really didn’t want to leave. We got home and our friends were just getting here. Nicole was really happy to see Penny. They just pretty much parellel played. It was nice to have some friends over but still a bit hard to talk with the kiddos around. The kids went right to bed on time at 8:00. Hopefully they get lots of sleep to make up for the last few nights.
