We had a busy day. We played at home for a bit. The kiddos played with all the cars on the train table. When I went to see what they were doing, they told me all the cars were bad and the police pulled them over. We had a little play date here with our pre school friends. The kids had a great time. Nicole played upstairs with her friends; they played baby-it was so cute. Justin and the boys played with the shake and race go car set. The house was a mess but all the kids had fun and thats what counts. I was running around cleaning since my friend from northern CA is here visiting. I got most of everything cleaned up and then we were off to swim lessons. Nicole is able to swim under water pretty well. Justin didn’t hesitate and tried it too. They both went from the instructor to the stairs. After the kiddos had fun playing. They stayed in the kiddie pool mostly as the big pool was kind of cold. They both showed me all their tricks, jumping in, going under, etc. They loved going under my legs. Well I rushed to get over to swim lessons I didn’t bring a change of clothes, so just got the kiddos naked and in the car. Justin didn’t seem too mind but Nicole was not too pleased. We got home and my friend Katie was here. The kids went straight to the bath and got a bubble bath. They loved it, loved putting bubbles all over themselves. After bath they played so well together. When dad got home from work, Katie needed to meet some people in Laguna Beach so we drove her. We ended up going to dinner then headed onto the beach. It was great, the kids had the best time ever. We were trying to keep them dry but it wasn’t going so well. They were smiling, giggling, etc in the water. It was really nice and I hope we can do it a few more times before summer ends. I was so stressed and tired though thinking of all the things we had to do on the way home. I feel like we have been running all day. Got to get the house cleaned up for the cleaners and do laundry, etc. Nicole wanted her princess ballet outfit for tomorrow so she talked me into doing laundry.
