This morning we just hung out at home and took it easy. We went to drop something off at a neighbor’s house. It was just nice to go for a walk. We ran into some other neighbors as well. Just nice not to be in a rush or anything. We came home and the fighting began. I needed to go to the Spectrum to return some things so off we went. The kids were great and I was glad I brought the stroller. We did my things first then did kids things. The kids went into the toy store and played with the train. Justin loves that thing. Which reminds me I should get my X-mas train out soon. We went into the pet store and Nicole said when she is a grown up she is going to get a dog. The dogs were so cute, I wish I could get one for the kids. We went into the bookstore and read a lot of books. We had a nice lunch outside then headed home. We have an Alvin and the Chipmunks CD in the car that the kids are loving listening to. We had to run something else to a neighbor’s house so the kids wanted to bike there. On the way home I decided I wanted to change and go jogging while they biked. But all of a sudden Nicole decided to be lazy and go really slow. But when it came to going on the stepping stones on the path she was all over it. We came home and the kids were just getting bratty-the more I do for them the brattier they get. We painted and put glitter on rocks on the greenbelt. The kids loved it and had a blast. But bath was a whole other story. The kids fought, splashed too much, etc. I ended up taking away TV which just hurt me as it meant more playing with them. They didn’t take a very long bath. It was cute as the kiddos were cold so they got into our bed. But then the fighting began again, dad came home. We made dinner and the kiddos didn’t like what I cooked, ugh. I started getting out some holiday decorations and the kiddos loved it. We just got Justin a race car bed and it came tonight. Poor guy wanted it so badly that dad brought half of it up, but it took a lot of work. It is a pretty cool bed-can’t wait to get it all together. I thought Nicole would be jealous but she was really great about it. She still loves her Dora bed. I was really proud of how she acted. Anyway I am glad this day is over and I hear snoring over the monitor.
